Fun With Robots

June 4th, 5th, and 6th

Grades 2nd – 3rd

Learn to build, code, play and explore with robots! Let’s see if you can get your robot to paint or follow a path. In this camp kids will learn how to program Ozobots, Lego Wee-Doos, Dash and Dots, Spheros and more to solve problems and perform tasks.

Wild Wonder

June 11th, 12th, & 13th

Welcome to the Animal Kingdom! In this course, we will explore the wacky world of animals and all the magnificent and strange creatures we find there. Be prepared to not only peek into the lives of the wildlife we find here in our own backyard, but to travel the world and travel through time as we look at animals present and past, including the ancient dinosaurs AND their living descendants!

Video Game Development

Video Game Development program is designed to introduce 6th and 7th-grade students to the exciting world of programming and video game development. This hands-on course builds upon the foundational programming concepts and empowers students to create their own interactive video games.

Best Bugs

June 18th, 19th, & 20th

Grades K – 1st

Calling all fans of the creepy and the crawly! All bug catchers, ant farmers, butterfly feeders, ladybug gatherers, and future entomologists, this is the camp for you! We are going to be diving deep into the world of bugs, looking at everything from beautiful colorful beetles to gross zombie ants! Students taking this course can expect to learn about the major arthropod groups (including spiders, crabs, centipedes, and insects) as well as what kinds they can expect to find here in Southern Utah.

Exploring STEM in Our World

Storms, earthquakes, kinetic energy, simple machines and more! Do you think you know what a Rube Goldberg machine is? This camp has it all. Students will experience hands-on exploring, building, and creating solutions to learn, understand and apply concepts in a very fun way.

Minecraft and More

In this class students will learn how to modify their worlds in Minecraft! Using a software called MCreator students will use their creativity to create their own armor, food, weapons, and many more items in Minecraft Java edition.

Forces and motion

July 9th, 10th, & 11th

Grades 2nd – 3rd

Join us for some Hands-on Physics fun! Students will have a blast exploring physics concepts like forces and motion (push and pull), gravity, and friction. We will race cars down friction ramps and discover how friction and weight affect the results. We will design and test catapults, create air powered cars, and even launch some rockets!

Space Camp

10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1 Blast off! Suit up and get ready to launch into outer space. On day one of space camp, you’ll explore the sun, craters, the moon, and the stars. Your mission continues on day two as you investigate our solar system and gravity. Space mission day three includes a rocket launch, galaxy dough, constellations and much more! Do you want to learn how to beat your friends at board games? Come and play with us and learn about strategic thinking and mathematics as we unravel the secrets of games. You will learn how to play several board games, learn how to improve your skills, and even have the opportunity to unleash your creativity by crafting your very own board game.

Put on your wizard hat, grab your wand, and get ready for a week of Magic! Incredible Inventions

Since the Stone Age, people have been tinkering and testing their ideas for use in their daily lives. Our modern society became what it is today because of the successes and failures of the many tinkerers who lived throughout history. This camp will give you a glimpse of ancient ingenuitive creations, as you are challenged to do exactly what the ancient people did. You will create inventions like the people in ancient times and learn a bit about history!

Ropes & Rescue Science

July 30th, 31st, & August 1st
9:00am – 12:00pm
Grades 6th – 8th

The fundamentals of knots, pulley systems, anchor systems, and high lines. Students will learn rope skills that first responder rescue teams use. Each day new hands-on competencies will be taught culminating in a full rescue simulation. This exciting camp will provide lifesaving essential abilities, as well as fun in the backyard!

Little Engineers

July 30th, 31st, & August 1st

Grades K -1st

Even our youngest students can be engineers. In this exciting new class Little Engineers will learn the process of using creativity and an understanding of materials, tools, mathematics, and science to design things that solve problems. We will Unlock their creativity by introducing age-appropriate engineering and computer science challenges that develop cognitive, social, motor, and language skills.
