PreK-12 STEM Camps and Classes

 

Fall After School Classes

Classes open for registration on August 20th, 2025. Classes run for six weeks from October 14th-November 19th.

Little Makers: 1st-3rd Grades

Classes for children currently in 1st-3rd grades for the 2025-2026 school year.

Tuesdays:

  • 4:30-5:30 – Sphero STEM Explorers: Code, Create & Conquer!
    • Get ready to roll, splash, and create your way through science and engineering! In this action-packed STEM class, kids will use Sphero robots to complete a series of creative challenges that combine coding, problem-solving, and hands-on fun. Whether they’re navigating water mazes, painting with code, or solving obstacle course missions, kids will explore real-world tech in the coolest ways possible.
  • 5:45-6:45 – STEM Pokémon Lab: Create Your Own Creatures!
    • Calling all trainers, scientists, and artists! In this exciting STEM-powered adventure, kids will dive into the world of Pokémon — but with a twist: they’ll get to invent their own! While learning biology, engineering, and creative maker skills, students will design original Pokémon species, craft custom Pokéballs, and even make their own trading cards to collect and swap!

Wednesdays:

  • 4:30-5:30 – Alien Invasion: Design Your Own World!
    • Get ready to blast off into your imagination! In this exciting, hands-on STEM class, kids will become young intergalactic explorers as they design their own alien species and build the planets they come from. Through creative storytelling, science-based exploration, and fun engineering challenges, students will learn how real planetary systems work—then dream up their own.
  • 4:30-5:30 – STEM Pokémon Lab: Create Your Own Creatures!
    • Calling all trainers, scientists, and artists! In this exciting STEM-powered adventure, kids will dive into the world of Pokémon — but with a twist: they’ll get to invent their own!     • Welcome to Brick City, a place where creativity meets engineering and every LEGO brick has a story! In this hands-on STEM class, students will explore the exciting world of stop-motion animation, video direction and creation, and technology used in the movies, using LEGO pieces to build a bustling city—complete with buildings, vehicles, characters, and more!

Master Makers: 6th-8th Grades

Classes for children currently in 6th-8th grades for the 2025-2026 school year.

Tuesdays:

  • 5:45-6:45 – Retro Arcade Game Makers: Build, Code & Create A Classic Game!
    • Level up your making, coding, and creativity skills in this hands-on STEM class where students design and build their very own retro-style video game—just like the classics! From hardware to software, to arcade-style gameplay, students will learn the fundamentals of building, game design, computer science, and coding, using beginner-friendly game engines and tools. Each student will leave with their very own, custom retro video game!
  • 5:45-6:45Battle Bots: LEGO EV3 Robot Wars
    • Get ready for an epic showdown in Battle Bots: LEGO EV3 Robot Wars! In this action-packed engineering camp, kids will dive into the world of robotics by designing, building, and programming their very own battle bots using LEGO EV3 Mindstorm robots. Over the course of the camp, campers will learn the principles of engineering, mechanics, and coding as they work to create a robot that can face off and win in a fight against their competition.

Wednesdays:

  • 4:30-5:30 – Battle Bots: LEGO EV3 Robot Wars
